Main Cast: ??

After seeing some advertisements for this show, I was all geared up for some fun anime. Unfortunately, the first episode was lackluster. It had some funny stuff, but not a lot.

The two main characters are a sorceress of sorts named Ihrie and a Wiccan (who is furry and has a tail) named Fam. Fam is kind of sweet and innocent for a witch. All she wants is friends. Her comrade on the other hand is a power hungry brat that swears a lot, or so it seemed in the sub-titled version that I saw.

Anyway, the two of them search ruins in the search of “The Ultimate Power.” Why? So that Ihrie can reverse a curse put on her by her former mentor. (SPOILER WARNING: Do not read further unless you want some of the plot revealed to you!) Whenever Ihrie uses magic, she changes into a mouse. So instead she has her friend, Fam, do magic.

Thus, the two wanderers find themselves in some ruins with Fam setting off most of the traps. They finally make it out of there with there lives and take a break at an inn. We watch Ihrie strip naked and bathe and then in the morning, she gets a map from a conman merchant. They go to a castle and find the idol they think has “The Ultimate Power.” Then it gets stolen from them by the merchant and two more treasure hunters named Rasha and Gil Migel. They remind me of a slightly smarter version of Jesse and James from Pokemon.

So, they make off with the idol and leave Fam and Ihrie immobilized. Eventually, Ihrie and Fam get it back and the show ends. Then we get to watch another episode in which they continue to look for this Power. Why? Because the idol only points the way to where the Power lies.

In the next episode, Fam leaves Ihrie and meets a prince that she falls for. Rasha also falls for the guy. They end up meeting the prince’s mortal enemy, Rugudorull, a very powerful sorcerer. Since I already ruined the first episode, I will just skip the rest of the 2^nd episodes content. However, it should be noted that this episode is a lot better then the 1^st one!

This was an okay movie. But don't let the young 'uns watch it. It'll probably go over their heads anyway, but the themes aren't that great.
