This video is different then other films I've reviewed. It has two OAVs on it, so I'll split my review in two parts. I like both of these, but be sure to look at the "bad stuff" sections before you check this stuff out!
The Scary Chimera Plan (Episode 1)
We begin by seeing a scary castle in a storm. Then we see an old grinning man looking out at the storm. Finally, we see Lina and she asks him if he'll stop being dramatic and show her his proposal. More drama ensues with organ interludes and candelabras coming out of the floor...then the old man, who's name is Deo or Dee-ol, gives Lina a scroll. Flash to the Slayers logo and then we're back...except now we're in a town ravaged by monsters. Next we see a three headed monster. A stupid looking one with Lina's head, shoulders and arms in the middle of it. What the!? There's also a kid who thinks it looks dumb and ends up irking Lina into blowing up the town...
What happened, you wonder? Well, it was a dream! Lina was imagining. The proposal she looked at showed her as that beast! The old guy wants to make her into a chimera. Nahga comes bursting in soon after and thinks it's a great idea too. So Lina blows them both up.
Later on Lina gets captured by the old guy. How? Well, it seems Deo made some doppelgangers from some hair. Unfortunately, it so happens that it was Nahga's. So, he made 10 Nahga copies/clones and they scare Lina so much she faints dead-away. Oh course, their laughter is so obnoxious, most people would faint or at the very least, plug their ears and run away!!!
Nahga goes looking for her friend and ends up in a face-off with Deo in the town square. Nahga is a twit and thinks that Deo and Lina are in some "sweet business deal" and she wants in on it. Deo has his clones pop out of fountain to attack and the clones do what they always do...laugh. Nahga goes into a speech that shames the clones into wanting Nahga as a mentor. So, Deo goes back to his castle to warn his benefactor (Fister?). They jump out off a parapet when they hear the 11 Nahgas charging up the hill with their terrible laughter bouncing off the walls. Finally, Lina is rescued and they capture the baddies.

Jeffrey's Knighthood (Episode 2)
This is a strange tale that starts out in an eating establishment. A weird looking clown faced lady wants Lina and Nahga to teach her son, Jeffrey, how to become a warrior/hero so he can be accepted into the Royal Guard. The lady's name is Josephine and she's hired some actors to be bandits for Jeffrey to fight.
Well, a little later, Jeffrey shows up. He's a pathetic looking fool. Skinny, and sickly looking, but full of bravado. We soon discover that if anyone says something bad about Jeffrey, they get hit over the head by a big woman in an executioners hood. (Yeah, that's Josephine!) Jeffrey is a moron who seems to think this is normal.
So, they go out and find a couple of bandits. Jeffrey jumps to the front and immediately starts swishing his rapier about. He ends up hitting his foot and knocking himself out. The bandits call him some name or another and are quickly smashed by Josephine.
Soon thereafter, they find the rest of the bandits and discover that these are real ones, NOT the hired ones. The actors were captured by the real ones. Well, they to spout out their thoughts of Jeffrey and Josephine comes out to dole out some punishment. HA! She ends up getting knocked out by the bandits! Serves her right!
Lina tricks the bandits into thinking Nahga is going to get naked and slams a bunch of them with some kind of screwball kick. Now here's a weird part in the film that I just don't get. The two sorceresses are chatting with Jeffrey in a little shed and listen to his idiocy and then blow themselves up 2-3 times...I guess...I really don't get it.
Anyway, the two girls end up taking Jeffrey and a hired honor guard out to battle a dark knight and his horde of ogres. The honor guard looks worse then Jeffrey and ends up fleeing. Galldor, the dark knight decides to leave too, until Lina mouths off at him. Then they do battle and Jeffrey gets a good smacking. Then Josephine intervenes and lays the smack down on Galldor.
Finally, they go off to try to defeat Galldor's master, Goldias. They enter his castle and fight some living armor as well as Goldias himself. Then, Jeffrey comes running in to kick some butt and falls on his face. Well...I could ruin what happens next, but I'd rather leave it as a surprise.
